Natalie Kim, Ph.D
SENIOR CONSULTANT
Dr. Kim has been working in the field of Regenerative Medicine for over 10 years both in the academia and industry. She has broad experience in research and development, clinical and business development, technology search and evaluation, alliance management, opportunity assessment, market analysis, and strategic partnering focused on cell therapy space. She joined Ajinomoto in 2015 at the Research and Innovation Center, in charge of leading and supporting preclinical and clinical development of biologics and diagnostics products in North America. Based on her technical experience in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, she lead technology transfer, commercial initiation, and business strategy of stem cell ancillary products.
Prior to Ajinomoto she was responsible for business development leading to clinical development of mesenchymal stem cell therapeutics at Medipost. Before that she was a postdoc at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, where she earned broad technical knowledge on tissue engineering and cell and gene therapies.
She holds a Doctorate in biomedical engineering from the University of Iowa, a Master of Science in medicine from Seoul National University, and a Bachelor of Science in bioscience from Handong University.
